15.10.2026 19:33 Wichtiges Sicherheitsupdate: Patches für alle VPS- und VDS-Hosts (CVE-2026-99999)
Uns ist CVE-2026-99999 bekannt, eine kritische Sicherheitslücke im Linux-Kernel (CVSS 9,3), die am 15. Oktober 2026 öffentlich gemacht wurde. Betroffen sind die Hostsysteme, auf denen alle VPS- und VDS-Produkte laufen. Wir verfolgen die Lücke seit ihrer Veröffentlichung und patchen unsere gesamte Serverflotte so schnell wie möglich. Die Fixes spielen wir schrittweise ein, sobald sie verfügbar sind.
In diesem Zeitraum kann es zu Neustarts von VPS und VDS kommen. Die Unterbrechungen halten wir so kurz wie möglich. Wir empfehlen, aktuelle Backups bereitzuhalten und sicherzustellen, dass alle Dienste nach einem Neustart automatisch starten. Weitere Details gibt es in unserem Helpdesk

Die Updates der VPS-Hostsysteme stehen kurz vor dem Abschluss, die VDS-Hostsysteme folgen im Anschluss. Nach den Updates sind derzeit einige Hostsysteme nicht erreichbar. Unser Team arbeitet daran, diese schnellstmöglich wiederherzustellen. Folgende Hostsysteme sind aktuell als nicht erreichbar bekannt: 15404, 24812, 13888, 31940, 24580, 22541, 15915, 28472, 24601, 20800, 28261, 27593, 18343, 18194, 28372, 17176, 17575, 17289[UPDATE 20.10.2026 09:28]
Die Patches sind zu 99% abgeschlossen. Folgende Host-Systeme sind nach den Patches derzeit nicht erreichbar: 14950, 14930, 14964, 15915, 27593, 17289, 18194, 17575, 15404, 18343, 31940, 24812. Unser Team arbeitet daran, sie so schnell wie möglich online zu bringen.[UPDATE 20.10.2026 17:08]

Object Storage is functioning normally in EU and US, this incident now only affects the APAC region Object Storage.
Additionally, customers in Sydney might experience slower data transfer speeds at times. The cause is a broken submarine cable between Australia and Singapore. Repairs are currently expected in November, though this timeline may change. We’re mitigating the situation by rerouting traffic.
While we resolve the situation, automated backups will continue as bandwidth and performance allows, and backup status remains visible via the CCP (Customer Control Panel).

We are continuing to address performance issues affecting our Object Storage cluster.
As a precaution, automated backups remain paused. Existing backups are unaffected and restores continue to operate normally.
We will provide a further update once resolved.

We are currently addressing performance issues affecting our Object Storage cluster. The Object Storage product remains fully functional.
As a precaution, automated backups to this cluster have been temporarily paused. Existing backups are unaffected, and restores continue to operate normally.
A fix is already underway. We expect the cluster to be fully operational within the next few days and are closely monitoring progress. Once resolved, automated backups will resume, and backup status will remain visible via the CCP (Customer Control Panel) throughout.
We will provide further updates as they become available.
